March 16th 2020: Max and Mary Alice DO NOT go to Rome, the Pyrenees, Montreal (or anywhere else for that matter) and the Wine Shop does not take a vacation. The Blue Hill Peninsula goes into an enforced period of peace and gentle isolation. JUly 12th 2019: JAZZ AT THE SHOP 7PM (that's 7PM jazz time, not beanhole supper time: 7:30 might be closer to the mark)), this Friday. Ross Gallagher (bass) and guest artists rock the wine shop once more this summer. Last show was a crazy success, don't miss it. A donation to the band gets you a glass of wine too!

Note this is NOT AT THE WINE SHOP, but at Sandy's cafe in downtown Blue Hill. But Max is a regular performer with the group and they are terrific!

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 2nd 2018: WINE BAR every Friday, November through March 12:30-9PM. This week Bouillabaisse, oh yes yes, and lovely lentil soup plus all the regular salads, tasty starters, and Meyer lemon cake for dessert. And of course there is Bandol rose, for you diehard Marseillaise!
